Parents often come to me when their child is overwhelmed, frustrated, or falling behind. Many students are bright and capable but struggle with executive functioning, ADHD, time management, online learning platforms, and the hidden expectations that come with school. They work hard but do not see better grades. They feel stuck. Parents feel stuck too.
This is the gap I have dedicated my career to closing.
I support students in grades seven through post-secondary who need help building learning strategies, study skills, reading strategies, organization, and confidence. My work focuses on teaching students how to learn in 2025 and how to thrive in a world that is fast paced, digital, and full of invisible expectations.
The Hidden Curriculum and Why Students Need Executive Functioning Support
There is a hidden curriculum in every school. These are the skills teachers expect students to know without ever teaching them. How to organize schoolwork. How to manage time. How to study effectively. How to break down assignments. How to navigate an online learning management system. How to advocate for themselves.
Students with ADHD, learning disabilities, anxiety, or weak executive functioning often struggle most with these invisible expectations. Their parents want to help but do not always know how.
When students learn how to learn, they become more confident and independent, which leads to better grades across their courses.
Teaching Learning Strategies and Study Skills for Today’s Digital World
School today is not the same as school twenty years ago. Students must juggle cloud storage, email, digital submissions, portals, notifications, and fast-moving deadlines. Many students never learned the digital literacy skills needed to stay on top of these demands.
My mission is to teach students the skills that make learning manageable. This includes time management, organization, reading strategies, note taking, studying, planning, and assistive technology that reduces cognitive load. I help students understand what their work requires and build routines that support consistent progress and better grades.
ADHD Help That Supports Students, Parents, Schools, and Clinics
Student success does not happen in isolation. Parents need guidance. Schools need training and support. Clinics need help providing academic follow through for students after assessments.
I work directly with students, but I also support the people and institutions around them. I partner with parents who need clarity and want someone to guide their child. I collaborate with schools that need help building resource rooms, understanding assistive technology, or strengthening inclusive teaching. I support psychologists and clinics by offering post assessment academic support that helps students use their learning profile in real life.
Everyone benefits when the system around a student becomes stronger.
Why This Mission Matters: How Strong Executive Functioning and Learning Strategies Build Confidence
I have spent more than thirty years working with learners. I have taught in schools, led learning centers, supported accessibility services, designed curriculum, trained teachers, and helped thousands of students understand how to learn. My work brings together executive functioning support, ADHD coaching, learning strategies, study skills, and assistive technology.
I know what works because I have seen it work. When students learn how to learn, they develop confidence, independence, and long-term success. They show up differently in their classes. They study in smarter ways. They manage their time with more clarity. They feel proud of their progress.
Every student deserves that chance.
Academic Support for High School and College Students Who Need Clarity
Parents come to me because they want their child to earn better grades and feel confident again. They want someone who understands ADHD, executive functioning challenges, and learning disabilities. They want clear guidance instead of nightly battles over homework.
If your child needs support with planning, organization, studying, or navigating online learning, I will teach them the skills that make school manageable. Students can learn differently. Students can thrive with the right tools.
