School should not feel this Difficult

ADHD &
Academic Coaching

University Students
Helping students build
confidence, effective habits,
& the skills for academic success.

Every student deserves the chance to succeed.
For many students, school feels far more difficult than it needs to be. Capable students work hard but struggle to keep up, follow through, or feel confident in their learning. I specialize in working with students who struggle with executive functioning, learning skills, and follow through, helping them learn how to learn so school becomes manageable and progress is possible.
By working directly with students and alongside families, schools, and clinics, I translate assessments and recommendations into practical strategies that build confidence and lead to measurable academic progress.
Academic and ADHD Support
for Students and
the People Who Support Them

Every Student Deserves to Succeed

How I Support
Parents and Students
My coaching practice is intentionally academic, focused on strengthening the skills students need to succeed across their courses and beyond school.
Support focuses on teaching the academic skills school expects students to manage independently. Planning systems, organization, time management, reading and writing strategies, and follow through are taught and applied directly to real coursework. As students become stronger and more confident learners, these skills carry forward into future academic demands and life beyond the classroom.

Academic Support Partnerships
for Schools and Clinics
Schools and clinics face constant pressure to support diverse learners with limited time and resources. I partner with schools and clinics to strengthen academic support for neurodivergent and ADHD learners by turning assessments and recommendations into clear, workable systems that can be implemented day to day.
Through close collaboration, I provide professional development, program support, and assistive technology integration that help staff apply effective strategies, engage students, and build inclusive academic systems that are sustainable over time.

About Andrea
Andrea Zians, M.A.
(Special Education), University of Toronto
I am an academic coach and learning strategist who helps students succeed in school. For over thirty years, I have supported more than 20,000 students in high school, college, and university who are capable and motivated but struggling to translate effort into results. My work focuses on students with ADHD, learning disabilities, and executive functioning challenges as they build confidence, independence, and real academic skills. I hold a Master of Arts in Special Education from the University of Toronto and am completing my Ph.D. in Educational Psychology. I connect research directly to what students need to manage workload, strengthen reading and writing, use time effectively, and follow through on academic expectations. My work centers on academic coaching, executive function development, and the intentional use of assistive technology to support studying, organization, and learning. I also collaborate with schools and clinics through professional learning, program development, and consultation, and I am the author of How to Study with ADHD and Other Learning Challenges: 10 Study Strategies for High School and University Students. My work is grounded in research and driven by a clear goal. Helping students develop the skills they need to succeed in school, and in life.
