ADHD and Academic Coaching
I bring clarity when it's complicated.
I coach students from stuck and frustrated to confident and capable.
I work directly with high school and university students with ADHD and learning differences — using real curriculum, real assignments, and real strategies that build lasting skills and independence.
I respond within 1–2 business days.

SOUND FAMILIAR?
When your child is smart, works hard, and still can't keep up
Parents doing more managing than the student
Your child knows the material but struggles on tests
Always last-minute, always stressed
Homework time is a battle every single night
Bright kid who's starting to believe they're not capable
I ALSO HELP
Students and families navigating the transition to high school or university, and parents who just received an assessment and don't know what to do next.
I work differently. Most tutors focus on one subject. I focus on the whole student. I work through real assignments and real deadlines while teaching the strategies, habits, and systems that were never explicitly taught.
I help students understand why they work the way they do, build confidence in their abilities, and make full use of their accommodations and IEP. I also match the right technology to how their brain works. The result is a student who doesn't just get through this week's work but knows how to succeed on their own.
The problem isn't your child. It's the missing system.
Here's How it Works
Step 1
We get clarity
We identify what's getting in the way
Step 2
We build a system
Strategies, habits, and tools matched to your child.
Step 3
Your child succeeds
Real assignments, real progress, real confidence.
Academic and ADHD Support for Students and
the People Who Support Them
I don't just show up for an hour and disappear.

I become part of your child's ecosystem. I am the "now what" after an assessment — the person who takes the recommendations and actually implements them. I loop in with teachers when needed, advocate for the right accommodations, and build skills deliberately and thoughtfully over time.

And I don't leave parents in the dark. I provide regular updates and guidance so you can step out of the exhausting role of homework manager and into something more sustainable — a parent who is informed, confident, and able to guide rather than chase.

Because what these students need most isn't another appointment. It's consistency. And that's exactly what I bring — replacing the chaos that has become normal with a steady, reliable system that actually works.
I am the author of How to Study with ADHD and Other Learning Challenges, a practical workbook created to help students become more engaged learners and get better grades. It grew out of years of hands-on work with high school and university students who needed clear, structured strategies that actually made school feel manageable.
When students who struggle develop the right skills, habits, and systems, academic success follows.

About Andrea
M.A. (Special Education),
For over thirty years, I have worked inside education at every level — in classrooms, accessibility offices, and postsecondary institutions, overseeing academic supports, conducting assessments, and designing curriculum. I know exactly how the system works and how to navigate it for your child. I have helped more than 20,000 students with ADHD, learning disabilities, and executive functioning challenges turn effort into real academic progress. I do this work because I have seen how quickly confidence erodes when students believe they are not capable — when in reality they are simply missing the right skills and strategies. I hold a Master of Arts in Special Education from the University of Toronto and have completed advanced graduate work in Educational Psychology. My work connects research directly to daily academic demands: managing workload, strengthening reading and writing, using time effectively, and following through. I am the "now what" after an assessment and the missing piece for students who are struggling without one. My focus is academic coaching, executive function development, and the thoughtful use of assistive technology. I collaborate with families, schools, and clinics, and I am the author of How to Study with ADHD and Other Learning Challenges. When you reach out, you are getting an advocate grounded in research and driven by one goal: helping students build the skills and confidence to succeed in school and beyond.
