Complimentary Consultation

If you are a student who feels capable but overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to begin, or a parent watching your child struggle, avoid schoolwork, or fall behind despite real ability, you are not alone.

I support high school and university students with ADHD and learning challenges through executive functioning coaching, learning strategies, and the intentional use of assistive technology.

When students learn how to plan, study effectively, and follow through, stress decreases at home and confidence grows.

I also collaborate with families and, when needed, schools and clinics to translate assessments into practical action and strengthen the support around each student.

the People Who Support Them

I am the author of How to Study with ADHD and Other Learning Challenges, a practical workbook created to help students become more engaged learners and get better grades. It grew out of years of hands-on work with high school and university students who needed clear, structured strategies that actually made school feel manageable.

When students develop the right skills, habits, and systems,

academic success follows.”

How I Support Parents and Students

My coaching is intentionally academic and focused on the executive functioning and learning skills students need to succeed in school and beyond.

Together, we build planning systems, organization, time management, reading and writing strategies, and follow through, applying them directly to current assignments, upcoming tests, and real coursework. Students practice these skills in the classes they are taking right now, so confidence grows and grades begin to improve.

As students become more capable and independent, these skills carry forward into future courses and life beyond the classroom.

About Andrea

About

M.A. (Special Education),

I am an academic coach and learning strategist who helps students succeed in school. For over thirty years, I have supported more than 20,000 high school and university students who are capable and motivated but struggling to translate effort into results. I work primarily with students with ADHD, learning disabilities, and executive functioning challenges as they build confidence, independence, and strong academic skills. I hold a Master of Arts in Special Education from the University of Toronto and am completing my Ph.D. in Educational Psychology. I connect research directly to what students need each day, managing workload, strengthening reading and writing, using time effectively, and following through on expectations. My work focuses on academic coaching, executive function development, and the thoughtful use of assistive technology to support studying and organization. I also collaborate with schools and clinics through professional learning and consultation, and I am the author of How to Study with ADHD and Other Learning Challenges: 10 Study Strategies for High School and University Students. Everything I do is grounded in research and driven by a clear goal: helping students develop the skills they need to succeed in school and in life.
